    SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS - HAPPY INDIVIDUALS

We offer an inclusive curriculum to ensure that each child’s learning experience offers maximum opportunities for excellence, enjoyment, personal development, respect for self and others.

Children will receive a broad and balanced curriculum that is designed to be fun, engaging and stimulating, and will help them acquire knowledge and skills to be the best they can be.

Our aim is for children to become successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens to enable them to make a positive and economic contribution to society.

Children’s achievements will be celebrated and everyone will enjoy success and praise regularly during their time in school. We encourage children to become independent and confident in both their work and social development.

    Wraparound Care

Here at St Michael’s we currently offer a Before and After School club which runs Monday to Friday and is available to all children aged 4-8.

We are thrilled that we have been able to access government funding to support the expansion of our After School Club with extended hours as well as taking part in the Early Adopters Breakfast Scheme where we will be offering a free breakfast club. We hope this will support parents with childcare and give you some flexibility to school hours as well as give children a fun club they can attend and enjoy.

Our After School Club runs 3-hour sessions 3pm – 6pm at a very competitive £9 per session. The sessions will include a ‘high tea’ with a substantial snack such as sandwiches or wraps, fruit / vegetable snacks, yoghurts.

The sessions will include an art and craft activity and games as well as the opportunity to play outside and explore forest school.

We will initially be opening it up to our school age children 4 – 8 years but are aiming to extend to our nursery children as soon as we can. It must be booked onto in advance.

Our Breakfast Club runs from 8am-8.30am Monday to Friday and is free to all children in Reception to Year 3. We will provide a healthy breakfast including cereals, fruit and yogurts.

To book please do so via MCAS, Wraparound Care.

Juggling work and life can sometimes be challenging. Available support with the costs of childcare can make this easier.
