Year 3 & 4 Inspiration 200 trip
Our Year 3 & 4 children were very excited to be able to go on a field trip on the steam train from Buckfastlegh to Totnes Riverside to celebrate 200 years of the modern railway.
As part of the celebration, Inspiration showcased railway innovations covering the past, present and future of the railway, with hands-on interactivity and career-focused activities. The children also explored the museum as well as;
• Railway Firsts: Showcasing groundbreaking innovations in railway history
• Wonderlab on Wheels: Offering engaging hands-on activities to explore the science and engineering behind railways
• Your Railway Future: Uncovering some of the more hidden roles in rail and encouraging people to consider a career in rail to shape the next 200 years
They all came back full of enthusiasm and excitement!
