World Book Day

To celebrate World Book Day we are encouraged children to take part by dressing up as a word. This word could be taken from a book they have read, inspired by something a character has said, or simply a word they loved. We asked like children to think creatively about how they can represent their chosen word and what it means to them.
Throughout the day, children participated in a range of fun and engaging activities, all linked to reading and developing vocabulary. They had the opportunity to listen to a variety of different stories being read, by different adults, helping to share the joy of books and storytelling.
